She’s baaaack!
Yes, ’tis I, Grace. Back in England. Back to the rain. Back to school shopping… JOY. Anywho it was not I that I was talking about in the blog header… My friend Selina is back from Hong Kong and I haven’t seen her in 7 years OOOOOO I’m so EXCITED!! You probably remember that last post I promised to upload pictures, but I never got round to it so I’m posting them on this post
There are two pools at this house: a lovely heated infinity pool and a rockpool that was exploded out of the rocks—no heating and you can only go in when the tide’s out. My dad and uncle decided to go in the rock pool. You could here their screams from the cold at the house Lol.
As I said, my cousin stayed with us with her Frenchie—Huey. By the way even though its a bad pic of me, I look really tan next to his pale fur
While we were there we had some GREAT food. My ultimate meal is lobster… so we had… LOBSTAAAA Heaven. I like sucking on the legs and the knuckles (These are the best bit!)

Saving the best for last…. *Drumroll* MA BROWN’S ICE CREAM! This is the Explosion I think. I got the large simply so I could see how big it was and somehow I managed to finish it before everyone else. I’m a pig by the way. It’s got marshmallows, cookie dough, M&Ms, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups I died and went to heaven.
Of course while I was out there, I had to go for a good ole’ shop My mum got me a REALLY nice stripy jumper from old navy and a new dress for my uncle’s wedding (It’s the one on the left). I also got for myself, a SUPER NICE Abercrombie hoodie and some Abercrombie jeggings, along with a new outfit from PacSun.
-Ahem- So I’ve been in Maine now for about a week and as of yet I have not posted… SO I’m gonna try and fit everything in that I’ve done so far
Lets start with the flight We were on one of the tiniest transatlantic flights you could get! We had no room and we didn’t have our own TVs! I basically live for the shows and movies they have on your own screen. So instead they showed just one film followed by a bunch of crappy American sitcoms … not cool. The film they showed was ‘The Bounty Hunter’—Lets just say that recently Jennifer Anniston hasn’t been in a lot of great films *cough* really bad *cough* but this one took the biscuit as we say in England. It was exceptionally bad but I continued to watch it out of sheer boredom. And to top it all off my DS ran out of charge and when I ordered the pasta it turned out to be MUSHROOM ravioli …
So far we have mainly been lounging by the pool (the house is on rocks and has views of the sea so when you’re in the pool it looks like your in the sea Since we’ve been here my family from DC have come up to see us, one of my second cousins and his family has come to see us from Boston and my other second cousin is staying with us and her dog in the house along with my great-aunt and uncle …. I have a big family.
TWOOT! Tomorrow I leave for America I can’t wait… However, I have left all my packing until last minute so today is being spent washing, ironing, packing, making sure I’ve got everything… *deep breath* Thankfully, our plane leaves at 6.00pm so I’ll have tomorrow morning to finish up anything. Usually my mum books our flights at unearthly hours and we end up having to get up at 3.00am!
Apart from packing and going away tomorrow there isn’t much else for me to blog

On wednesday I’m going to America for 3 WEEKS to visit my family in Maine! So I’ll be eating lots of lobster, taffy and the best ice cream in the world! My mum went shopping today and got me a big pink spotty suitcase Its really cool. I can’t wait, its going to be amazing—although slightly hot. I’m not very good at dealing with heat
Oo! Tonight I’m going to watch the new Sherlock—its a really good modernised TV show version of the old Sherlock Holmes.
I had an amazing dream last I dreamt that me and my friend Liz met Matt Smith and we saved him from having to sleep in the rain. And the next morning we woke up and we saw him shirtless in the garden on his phone and we’re like “OMG! We met the Doctor!” So then we took pictures standing next him and he made us a cake with his picture on Ahhhh… good times Although you can imagine my sadness when I woke up to find that it was only all just a dream Matt Smith
So this week I’ve been working on doing my grandma’s website for her but I need some help: does anyone know how to centre the layout so it will work in all browsers??
The other night I watched a REALLY amazing TV show. It’s called ‘The Deep‘, its about these people that go down in a submarine on a mission to find out what happened to the last mission group. Its quite scary though and it made me jump few times
